Since 2014, Elia Cecino is regularly invited to play solo and chamber recitals in venues such as Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Fazioli Concert Hall in Sacile, Teatro Verdi in Trieste, Auditorium della Gran Guardia in Verona, Gesellschaft für Musiktheater in Vienna, Schloss Wolfsburg, Palatul Culturii in Iași, Aula de Cultura in Murcia.
He performed with the Simfònica del Vallès, Sinfónica de Galicia, Düsseldorf Symphony, Sichuan Philarmonic, Bacau Philarmonic, FVG Orchestra, Morbegno Vivaldi Orchestra, Joven Orquesta Leonesa, Concentus Musicus Patavinus Orchestra, and the Pordenone San Marco Orchestra.
In October 2020, the Suonare Records label released his debut CD dedicated to Beethoven, Chopin and Scriabin. A monographic Chopin album was published in April 2021 by OnClassical. Some of his recitals and interviews have been broadcast on Rai Radio 3, Radio Popolare, Rai Friuli Venezia Giulia and Radio MCA. He participated in the TV show “Prodigi” on Rai Uno.
Winner of the XXXVIo Premio Venezia – a competition for the top graduate students of Italy – Elia was also awarded in international competitions such as Viñes in Lleida, Ciudad de Ferrol, Pozzoli in Seregno, Casagrande in Terni, Schumann in Düsseldorf, Luciani in Cosenza, Bajic in Novi Sad, Chopin in Budapest, Marciano in Vienna.
Born in Italy in 2001, Elia began his studies at age nine with Maddalena De Facci and at age seventeen he graduated “summa cum laude” from the Cesena Conservatory. In 2020 he earned the Specialization Diploma from the Accademia del Ridotto di Stradella, where he studied with Andrzej Jasinski. Currently he studies with Eliso Virsaladze at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole.
