The Vendome Prize

The Vendome Prize seeks out, rewards, supports, and guides future professional artists who are technically perfect, magnetic, original, ambitious, in possession of a large repertoire and ready to undertake the challenges of a performing career.

Announcing the 2019 Winners!

The 2019 Vendome Prize for Piano was held at the Verbier Festival, Switzerland, between July 20-23, 2019.

Daumants Liepins from Latvia won unanimously the First Prize, a cash award of $25,000, a debut at the Verbier Festival 2020 and a solo recording produced and recorded by the Steinway & Sons label.

Ukrainian Dmytro Choni won Second Prize and $15,000.

Sae Yoon Chon (from South Korea) won Third Prize and $10,000.

Italian Luigi Carroccia was awarded the Vendome Virtuoso Prize, given to the highest ranked non-finalist.
