Semi-finalists are selected through a rigorous international audition process involving over 500 applicants from 40+ countries. Our panel of renowned artists evaluates technical skill, artistic expression, and cultural significance. The process includes video submissions, regional live auditions, and final jury deliberation.
While the jury determines the official winners, we offer an Audience Choice Award where attendees can vote for their favorite performer during the Grand Finale on Day 3. Voting cards are distributed at the venue, and results are announced during the awards ceremony.
The Vendome Prize features six main disciplines: Classical (ballet, opera, orchestral), Contemporary (modern dance, experimental theatre), Fusion (cross-disciplinary performances), Vocal (opera, jazz, traditional singing), Instrumental (piano, violin, traditional instruments), and Cultural Heritage (traditional forms preserved and innovated).
Meet-and-greet opportunities are available at the Welcome Reception on Day 1, the After-Party each evening, and during designated signing sessions in the Grand Foyer. Premium ticket holders also have access to exclusive backstage tours and artist Q&A sessions.
The Grand Prize winner receives โฌ100,000, a year-long residency at a prestigious cultural institution, and international touring opportunities. Finalists receive โฌ25,000 each, and all semi-finalists receive โฌ5,000 plus featured promotion in the Vendome Prize global network.
